The three roles

Owner. Creates the company, manages billing, changes company settings.

Admin. Invites members, changes roles, approves posts. Only billing stays out of reach.

Editor. Writes posts and submits them for approval. Does not decide about access or invoices.

That is deliberately narrow. Nobody reads a role model with twelve levels, and in the end everyone gets the highest one.

The approval step

A post moves through five states: draft, ready, in review, approved, published.

An editor gets as far as "ready". That is where their path ends - they cannot approve their own post. That is the whole point of the exercise.

Owners and admins carry it on. They approve it or send it back with a note on what should change.

After approval the text is locked - from then on only someone who can approve may change it. Otherwise approval would be a formality: approve, then rewrite, then publish.

What is better as of today

Until now, approval was a one-way street. The editor submitted and heard nothing back - neither on approval nor on return. Anyone wanting to know what became of their post had to go looking or ask.

From today the message travels both ways. If your post is approved, you hear about it. If it comes back, you hear about that too - and the requested change sits on the post itself, not in an email you do not have open while revising.

Anyone finding that too much mail can switch it off per company.

The company voice

A company has a writing style of its own, and it is not the sum of the personal ones.

So kontiqo keeps two separate style profiles: yours and the company's. The company voice learns from the team's posts, not from your private ones - and nothing flows from the company into your own texts either.

If someone is removed from the company, their learning data moves from the company corpus back into their private one. They take with them what came from them.

What Business costs

79.90 euros gross per month, two seats included. Every further seat 11.90 euros gross (as at September 2026; current prices at kontiqo.io/en/pricing).

Each seat carries the full Pro allowance - not a shared company allowance that runs out after two weeks because one person worked hard.

What kontiqo is not built for

Not for agencies. One account can own exactly one company. Anyone serving ten clients and needing ten separate brand worlds is better off with a tool built for multi-brand work.

You can, however, be a member of several companies and switch between them without signing in again - that covers the case of writing for two organisations.
