What is new

Videos join the normal workflow from today: upload, assign to a channel, write the text, schedule, publish. On Instagram and Facebook that happens as a Reel.

Why this matters for small businesses

On Instagram, video is not one format among several - it is the format that still gets reach. Working with stills there means playing against the channel.

For independents and small firms this used to be a hurdle: the video is quickly shot, but the path from file to published Reel ran through the phone, with everything that entails - transfer the file, open the app, upload, type the caption in a tiny field.

What kontiqo takes off your hands

The text is written on a computer, where writing is easier, and goes out together with the video.

Scheduling works exactly as it does for text. A Reel on Thursday at 9am is a calendar entry like any LinkedIn post.

The allowance is counted per channel, not per idea - a video going to two channels uses two slots, and that is shown in advance.

What you should know

Every channel has its own limits for length, format and file size. kontiqo checks this before uploading and tells you when something does not fit - instead of letting you wait two minutes and then failing.

LinkedIn takes video as well, it just does not call it Reels.
