The best thoughts arrive in the car, after a client call, on a walk. By the time you are at your desk they are gone - or they are still there, but the appetite for writing them down is not.
Speaking is faster than typing, and it works while you do something else.
How it works
Bottom right of the dashboard sits a button. Press, speak, release. Twenty seconds is enough for one thought.
kontiqo writes down what you said and turns it into a draft post - not a word-for-word transcript, but a text that says the same thing and works in writing. Spoken language and written language are not the same, and a post that sounds like a transcript is hard work to read.
On the move, without opening the app
The same feature works through Telegram: send a voice message, get a draft back. If you are often out and about, you work from your phone without signing in anywhere.
What happens to the recording
The recording is never stored with us: it is passed on for transcription and lives only for the duration of that one request. What remains is the text - your idea, in your library. Who produces the transcript for us, and how long it is kept there for abuse monitoring, is stated in Annex 2 of our data processing agreement.
Why this helps your own voice in particular
A post that grows out of your spoken idea carries your word choice. The examples you pick, the order in which you think, how you enter a topic - all of that is already in what you said.
Type a keyword into a field instead and you get a text built from that keyword. That is the difference between "sounds like you" and "sounds like anyone".
